Daniel Chodowiecki was one of the most celebrated artists in Berlin during his lifetime. To mark the 300th anniversary of his birth, more than 20 of his most important works from different periods of his career are on display. His works continue to fascinate visitors with their subtle humour while also encouraging reflection. The social and political themes of the Enlightenment addressed in his art remain relevant today.
