To mark the anniversary of the November pogroms of 1938, this themed tour explores issues of colonial and Nazi violence. Drawing on selected exhibits – ranging from panels on racial theory to everyday objects associated with exclusion, and including photographs and eyewitness accounts of the Night of Broken Glass itself – the tour through the exhibition galleries focuses on the relationship between violence and racism, as well as colonial and Nazi practices of domination, disenfranchisement and persecution.
