A spectre is haunting the land of Denmark – ah, Berlin! The spectre of expropriation. Under the guidance of Richard Haufe-Ahmels, Jonin Herzig and Paul Marwitz-Seyffert, a group of Berliners has been exploring the phenomenon of expropriation and ghost stories in a series of workshops.

The spectre of expropriation is currently ever-present. It had a massive impact on the Berlin election campaign, and even after the election, numerous articles on the subject appear daily.

In this series of workshops, these fears and mechanisms were examined and analysed: How do people talk about expropriation? What perspectives on expropriation exist, and what different forms does it take? What frightens them, and what are they afraid of? These questions gave rise to a spooky and wild evening of theatre, full of ghosts and spirits.
